Poland declining stocks at the close of trade; WIG30 below 1.62%

Poland stocks lower at close of trade; WIG30 down 1.62%
Investing.com - Poland stocks were lower after Friday's close, as losses in the banking, energy and telecommunications shares led lower.
At the close of Warsaw, the WIG30 declined 1.62%.
The most effective measures of the session in WIG30 were Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA: TPE), which rose 0.76% or 0.020 points to trade at 2,640 at closing. Meanwhile, Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (WA: PGN) added 0.75% or 0.04 points to close at 5.39 and Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka SA (WA: LWBP) rose 0.62% or 0.24 points 38.89 in afternoon trading.
The worst results of the session were Polska Kasa Opieki SA Bank (WA: PEO), which fell 3.99% or 6.10 points to trade at 146.68 at the close. Kernel Holding SA (WA: KER) decreased 3.15% or 1.70 points to finish at 52.30 and OrangePL (WA: OPL) fell 2.98% or 0.17 points to 5.54.
Falling stocks outnumbered on the Warsaw Stock Exchange about 289 to 206 and 168 ended unchanged.
Shares of OrangePL (WA: OPL) fell to record lows; losing 2.98% or 0.17 to 5.54.
Crude for July delivery fell 2.31% or 1.17 to $ 49.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery fell 2.27% or 1.18 to hit $ 50.77 per barrel, while gold contract in August rose 0.10% or 1, 30 to trade at $ 1274.00 a troy ounce.
EUR / PLN rose 0.62% to 4.3617, while USD / PLN rose 0.92% to 3.8655.
The US Dollar Index rose 0.30% to 94.38.
