Norway close of trade below populations; Oslo OBX to 1.47%

Investing.com - Norway shares were lower after Friday's close, as losses in the media, banking and insurance stocks led lower.
At the close in Oslo, Oslo OBX declined 1.47%.
The most effective measures of the session in the Oslo OBX were Det Norske Oljeselskap ASA (OL: DETNOR), which rose 7.76% or 6.50 points to trade at 90.30 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS) added 0.77% or 1.0 points to close at 130.5 and DNO International ASA (OL: DNO) increased 0.31% or 0.03 points 9.63 in afternoon trading.
The worst results of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL: REC), which fell 6.43% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.60 by the close. Seadrill Limited (OL: SDRL) decreased 4.03% or 1.1 points to close at Schibsted ASA and 27.1 A (OL: SBSTA) was reduced from 3.75% or 9.4 points to 241.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered rose on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 122 to 42 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Det Norske Oljeselskap ASA (OL: DETNOR) rose to 3-year high; gaining 7.76% or 6.50 to 90.30.
Crude for July delivery fell 2.18% or 1.10 to $ 49.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery fell 2.21% or 1.15 to hit $ 50.80 per barrel, while August gold contract rose 0.07% or 0, 95 to trade at $ 1273.65 a troy ounce.
EUR / NOK rose 0.62% to 9.2875, while USD / NOK rose 0.94% to 8.2316.
The US Dollar Index rose 0.30% to 94.38.
