LONDON (Reuters) - Nissan (T: 7201) said it could take legal action against the official campaign Brexit for the use of its logo in leaflets, following the Japanese manufacturer partner Toyota car since both companies said that the use of their logos could give the impression that the backing of Britain leaving the EU.
For a flyer "Stop Vote" logos appear alongside those of four other major companies, including Unilever (L: ULVR) and also automaker Vauxhall (N: GM) with the message: "Major employers .. . all have said they'll remain in the UK whatever the outcome of the referendum ".
Nissan, who prefer to stay in Britain to the European Union, said it was "considering the appropriate action to take" after a request made to vote Leave to stop using the logo was denied.
Leave vote did not immediately respond to a request for comment when contacted by Reuter
